TrueCoach Pricing Explained (2026)

TrueCoach publishes three plans, Starter, Standard and Pro, capped at 5, 20 and 50 clients. Above 50 clients, pricing is not published and requires talking to support. Prices below were checked on TrueCoach's own pricing page on 22 September 2026.

In short
  • Starter is $29.98/month for 5 clients, Standard is $69.98/month for 20, and Pro is $164.98/month for 50.
  • TrueCoach's pricing page defaults to annual billing: $26.34, $57.99 and $136.99. The monthly prices above are what you actually pay without a yearly commitment.
  • TrueCoach Payments (Stripe) takes a flat 5% of the invoice total, including tax, on every plan, and only works in the US, UK, Canada and Australia.
  • A branded app is included at no extra fee from Standard upward, unlike most rivals that charge for it separately.
  • Above 50 clients, TrueCoach does not publish a price at all. Trainerize, Everfit and Scraler all have published prices for larger rosters.

What do TrueCoach's plans cost?

TrueCoach lists exactly three plans, each with a hard client cap rather than a per-seat curve. There is no free tier, but every plan includes a 14 day trial with no card required. Our coaching software cost calculator prices TrueCoach against ten rivals at your own roster size.

Every plan shares the same core toolset: 3,500+ exercise videos, habit tracking and progress photos. Meal plans are delivered as documents with macros pulled in via MyFitnessPal rather than a built-in meal builder, so a coach setting targets often still reaches for something like a macro calculator alongside it. There is no in-app meal plan editor at any tier, so nutrition coaching on TrueCoach leans more on documents and check-ins than on a dedicated builder.

What does TrueCoach actually cost at 5, 20 and 50 clients?

Unlike per-seat pricing that climbs smoothly, TrueCoach's three tiers are fixed steps with a hard cap at each one. Here is the monthly price at every published client count.

5 clients
TrueCoach plan
Starter
Monthly price
$29.98/month
20 clients
TrueCoach plan
Standard
Monthly price
$69.98/month
50 clients
TrueCoach plan
Pro
Monthly price
$164.98/month

The price roughly doubles between Starter and Standard for four times the clients, then more than doubles again into Pro. Past 50 clients, TrueCoach has no published figure, so growing further means a conversation with its support team before you know what you will pay. That is a real planning gap for a coach who expects to keep growing past 50, since every other plan in this comparison publishes a number well beyond that size.

What costs extra on top of the plan price?

TrueCoach's biggest extra cost is not a flat add-on fee, it is a percentage that scales with how much money moves through the platform.

  • TrueCoach Payments. Built on Stripe, it takes a flat 5% of the invoice total, including tax, on every plan with no discount at higher tiers. It only works for coaches based in the US, UK, Canada or Australia; everyone else needs a workaround outside the platform.
  • Everything above 50 clients. TrueCoach does not publish a price past Pro's 50-client cap. Scaling a roster further means contacting support directly, with no published number to plan around.

Be careful comparing prices directly off TrueCoach's own pricing page: it defaults to annual billing, showing $26.34, $57.99 and $136.99 instead of the real monthly prices of $29.98, $69.98 and $164.98. The trial itself is 14 days with no card required.

How does TrueCoach's price compare at the same roster size?

At 20 clients, TrueCoach Standard is $69.98 a month with a branded app included, while Trainerize has no published seat price at exactly 20 clients. At 50 clients, TrueCoach Pro reaches $164.98 a month, well above Kahunas Growth's $69 for the same 50-client cap.

Scraler's flat-tier pricing avoids the step-up entirely at this range: Plus covers up to 50 clients for $49 a month, less than half of TrueCoach Pro's price for the same roster size. Everfit's nearest published step to 50 clients is 35, at $75/mo, so it is left out of this row.

TrueCoach's branded app included from Standard is a genuine advantage most rivals charge for separately, covered in the TrueCoach alternatives guide alongside its unpublished pricing above 50 clients.

Who is TrueCoach worth the price for?

TrueCoach suits a US, UK, Canadian or Australian coach who values a branded app without a separate fee and does not mind a percentage-based payments cost that scales with revenue rather than a flat monthly add-on. It is a weaker fit past 50 clients, where pricing simply is not published, and a weaker fit outside its four supported countries, where the payments feature does not work at all. Coaches who process a lot of revenue through the platform should model the 5% fee against a flat alternative before assuming TrueCoach is cheaper overall.

Cons
  • TrueCoach Payments takes a flat 5% of every invoice, including tax, with no volume discount
  • Payments only work in the US, UK, Canada and Australia
  • No published pricing past 50 clients; scaling further means contacting support
Pros
  • A branded app is included from Standard at no extra fee, unlike most competitors
  • 3,500+ exercise videos and native habit tracking on every plan
  • 14 day trial with no card required to test all three tiers

For more detail on where TrueCoach fits against the wider field, see the TrueCoach vs Trainerize comparison or the full TrueCoach alternatives roundup, and the online coaching platforms hub for every vendor in one place. Scraler is one alternative worth checking: Plus and Premium include check-ins and workout planning without a percentage-based payments fee, and archiving a client removes them from the cap straight away rather than leaving them billed.

It is a newer, smaller platform than TrueCoach, and its 14 day trial needs a card on file even though nothing is charged until it ends. A TrueCoach roster, clients, workouts and meal plans, transfers over through the switch page.
