Glofox Pricing Explained (2026)
Glofox publishes one number: plans start at $99 a month. That figure is not attached to any of its three named tiers, Essential, Boost or Elite, and getting an actual quote means answering a quiz about business type, locations and details first. Here is what is knowable from Glofox's own pages, and what genuinely is not.

- Glofox's pricing page now shows no figure at all. The "plans starting at $99 per month" line earlier write-ups quote is gone, replaced by a three-step form.
- A real quote requires completing an interactive quiz on business type, locations and details rather than reading a price list.
- No client, staff or location limit, no payment processing rate and no setup fee are published for any Glofox tier.
- Zen Planner, Gymdesk and TeamUp all publish a real price at every member band, starting at $99, $75 and $119, where Glofox now publishes nothing at any size.
- Scraler is not a gym management system: no access control, no kiosk check-in, no point of sale, so it is not a straight substitute for Glofox at a real gym.
What does Glofox actually publish about its price?
Glofox's own /pricing/ page is not a price list. It is an interactive quiz that asks for Business Type, Locations and Details before showing anything at all. The page it links onward to, /plans/, names three tiers, Essential, Boost and Elite, and compares their features side by side, but no price sits on any of the three cards. The only number on either page is a banner reading "PLANS STARTING AT $99 PER MONTH", and nothing on the page attaches that figure to Essential specifically, or to any other named tier. Our gym software cost calculator lines up what all eight publish at your member count.
- Published floor price
- $99/month, not attached to a named tier
- Named tiers
- Essential, Boost, Elite: feature lists only
- Client, staff or location limits
- Not published

Why is Glofox's pricing gated behind a quiz?
Glofox, owned by ABC Fitness, sells to studios and gyms of very different sizes under the same three tier names, which is likely why a single published number would not fit its own buyers well. Its copy leans on phrases like "Find the right plan for your business" and "Flexible contracts" rather than a table of figures. One line is worth reading twice: "Transparent pricing, no hidden fees" appears as a slogan, but it is not backed by any visible fee schedule. XLerate, a custom branded app and multi-location analytics are all named as add-ons, and none carries a price. Compare it against seven vendors that do publish something on the Glofox alternatives page.
- Contracts. Described only as "flexible", with no minimum term or notice period stated.
- Enterprise. A separate custom quote for larger, multi-location accounts, again with no published starting figure.
How does Glofox compare to vendors that do publish a price?
Since Glofox will not commit to a number before its quiz, the more useful comparison is against vendors in the same category that publish an entry price outright. Every figure below is the vendor's own published monthly figure, taken from its current pricing page. None of these vendors publishes an annual price or shows a monthly/annual toggle, so monthly is all there is to compare.
- Published entry price
- $99/month floor, not tied to a tier
- Notes
- Essential, Boost and Elite shown with no price on any of them
- Published entry price
- $99 to $289/month (Studio)
- Notes
- Every active-member band is published on a separate tiers page
- Published entry price
- $75/month (Micro Gym, up to 50 active members)
- Notes
- Four named tiers, all with a published price, up to 400 members
- Published entry price
- $99/month (Essentials, offer price, per location)
- Notes
- Regular price shown as $199/month, struck through; Accelerate and Ultimate carry no price at all
- Published entry price
- $189/month at the 101 to 200 customer bracket
- Notes
- Set by a usage based slider; other brackets do not appear without interacting with it
- Published entry price
- $0/month (Free) or $159/month (Pro)
- Notes
- Three named tiers, each with a published price
- Published entry price
- Not published on the named tiers
- Notes
- Starter, Accelerate and Ultimate all show a "Let's talk" button instead of a figure
| Vendor | Published entry price | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Glofox | $99/month floor, not tied to a tier | Essential, Boost and Elite shown with no price on any of them |
| Zen Planner | $99 to $289/month (Studio) | Every active-member band is published on a separate tiers page |
| Gymdesk | $75/month (Micro Gym, up to 50 active members) | Four named tiers, all with a published price, up to 400 members |
| Wodify | $99/month (Essentials, offer price, per location) | Regular price shown as $199/month, struck through; Accelerate and Ultimate carry no price at all |
| TeamUp | $189/month at the 101 to 200 customer bracket | Set by a usage based slider; other brackets do not appear without interacting with it |
| PushPress | $0/month (Free) or $159/month (Pro) | Three named tiers, each with a published price |
| Mindbody | Not published on the named tiers | Starter, Accelerate and Ultimate all show a "Let's talk" button instead of a figure |
Mindbody's pricing page follows the same pattern as Glofox, a "Let's talk" button on every tier, but it goes one step further and publishes $79 a month per location for Starter on a separate explainer. Glofox has moved the other way. The $99 floor that earlier comparisons quote is no longer on the page in any currency, so there is now no figure at all to hold a quote against, which is a harder position for a buyer than a vague floor was.
What does quote gated pricing actually mean for a buyer?
It means the number a salesperson gives on the phone is the only number that matters, and nothing on Glofox's own page is there to check it against. A few things are worth doing before that call rather than after it.
- Ask for the processing rate and any setup fee in writing before signing, since Glofox publishes neither.
- Ask for the price at your actual client, staff and location count. There is no published figure left to anchor against, so the quote is the only number you will see.
- Ask whether the quote assumes an annual commitment. Glofox publishes nothing about commitment length, so there is nothing on the page to check the answer against.
- Line the quote up against Zen Planner's published band for your member count, or Gymdesk's $75 to $200 range, before deciding it looks competitive.
Where does Scraler fit, and where does it not?
Scraler is not a gym management system, and a Glofox buyer who needs one should not read this as a substitute. Scraler has no access control, no membership cards, no kiosk check-in, no turnstiles and no point of sale, all of which a multi-location gym typically needs and Glofox is built around.
What Scraler does cover is studio and team management, multiple locations, classes with a capacity limit, public booking, Stripe payments, and a white-label mobile app on its top tier, fitting a coaching-led studio far better than a gym that needs someone badged in at the door. Its own prices are published on its pricing page rather than gated behind a quiz: Plus is $49 a month for up to 50 clients, Premium is $69 a month for up to 100 clients, and Ultimate starts at $109 a month at 100 clients, scaling to $499 a month at 500. For a gym choosing between Gymdesk or Zen Planner instead, the gym management software hub lines up the category, and Mindbody alternatives covers the same question from Mindbody's side.
Put your own client count next to Plus, Premium and Ultimate and see the monthly total up front. Fourteen days free to test it, a card on file from the start, nothing pulled unless you stay on past the trial.
View pricingFrequently asked questions
- How much does Glofox cost per month?
- Nothing. As of 25 September 2026 the pricing page carries no figure at all: it asks for your business type, then your number of locations, then your contact details. The "plans starting at $99 per month" line that older comparisons quote is no longer there.
- Why doesn't Glofox show its prices?
- /pricing/ is an interactive quiz asking for Business Type, Locations and Details; /plans/ shows the three named tiers with feature comparisons but no price on any of them.
- Does Glofox charge a payment processing fee?
- Not published. Glofox's page states "transparent pricing, no hidden fees" but does not publish a processing percentage, setup fee or per seat charge anywhere.
- What is cheaper than Glofox with a published price?
- Gymdesk publishes $75/month for its Micro Gym tier, up to 50 active members, and Wodify was showing $99/month per location for Essentials at last check. Both are attached to an actual named tier, which is more than Glofox now gives you at any price.
- Is Scraler a Glofox alternative?
- Only for coaching-led studios. Scraler has no access control, kiosk check-in or point of sale, so a gym that needs those stays better served by Glofox. Scraler instead covers studio and team management, multi-location classes, public booking and Stripe payments, from $49 a month.
