Why look past Mindbody on price at all
Mindbody's pricing page names Starter, Accelerate and Ultimate and puts a "Let's talk" button on all three, though Starter is $79 a month per location on Mindbody's own pricing explainer and Accelerate and Ultimate carry no figure anywhere. It does publish: no setup fee, unlimited users per location, and a 20% commission on Mindbody app bookings, capped at $30, charged only when the app brings in a client the business would not otherwise have had. Processing is not quoted as a flat rate. Our gym software cost calculator lines up what all eight publish at your member count.
Glofox
- Price
- Not published per tier, floor of $99/month
- Plans
- Essential, Boost, Elite, Enterprise (custom)
- Member or location limits
- Not published
- Best for
- Larger gyms and franchises
Glofox's pricing page is an interactive quiz, not a table. The one figure it shows, "PLANS STARTING AT $99 PER MONTH", is not attached to Essential, Boost or Elite specifically. Processing rate, setup fee and per-seat pricing are all absent from the page, as are prices for the XLerate and custom branded app add-ons. More at Glofox alternatives.
Zen Planner
- Core plans
- Studio $99, Essentials $198, Ultimate $348 per month, all "starting at"
- Limits
- Scales with active members, no breakpoint table published
- Add-ons
- Branded app $39/month, card readers $39/month, standalone website $99/month
- Payments
- Zen Planner Payments, priced as "custom pricing", no rate published
Zen Planner prices by active members, defined on its page as "anyone with a membership or who's attended an event in the past month", but shows no table of what a studio with, say, 300 active members actually pays. No annual price or toggle appears anywhere. The FAQ notes no setup fee applies with select preferred processors, implying one can apply elsewhere without stating an amount. See Zen Planner alternatives for more.
Gymdesk
- Micro Gym
- $75/month, up to 50 active members
- Small / Medium / Large Gym
- $100 (51 to 100), $150 (101 to 200), $200 (201 to 400)
- Enterprise
- 400+ members, price not published
- Setup fee
- $0, stated on the page
Gymdesk is the most transparent vendor here: every tier is a published price against a published member bracket, month to month, no contract. Add-ons are published too: door access at $100/month for up to three doors plus $29/month per extra, a branded app at $100/month with the first month free, extra locations at $50/month each. Processing percentage is not published. More at Gymdesk alternatives.
TeamUp
- Price
- $189/month at the 101 to 200 active customer bracket (page default)
- Model
- One usage-based plan, not good/better/best tiers
- Branded app add-on
- $99/month on top of the core plan
- Setup fee
- None, stated on the page
TeamUp prices a single plan against an interactive slider with brackets from under 100 up to 501-plus active customers. Only the 101 to 200 figure, $189/month, rendered without touching the slider, so the rest of the ladder is not published here. There is no annual toggle and no processing rate stated. See TeamUp alternatives for more.
Wodify
- Essentials
- $99/month per location, offer price against a struck-through $199
- Accelerate / Ultimate
- Not published, "Get Started" button only
- Processing
- Card as low as 2.6% + $0.25, ACH as low as 1.5% + $0.30
- Setup fee
- Exists per the FAQ, amount not published
Wodify's $99/month Essentials figure is tied to a "book a demo by 31 October" deadline and framed as $100 off for life against a regular $199, so it was live when this page was checked. Accelerate and Ultimate show no figure anywhere, only a "Get Started" button. Pricing is per location, and every tier markets unlimited clients and staff rather than a numeric cap. More at Wodify alternatives.
PushPress
- Free / Pro / Max
- $0, $159, $229 per month
- Limits
- Unlimited members, leads, admins and staff on every tier
- Processing (Free to Max)
- 4.99% + $0.30 card down to 2.75% + $0.30 card
- Add-ons
- Train from $79/month, branded app $81 to $97/month
PushPress is the only vendor here with a genuinely free tier rather than a trial: Free costs $0/month with no member cap, at the cost of the highest processing rate of the three. A "Full Stack" bundle combining its add-ons is referenced in the FAQ at roughly $559/month, with no line-item breakdown. Pricing shown is US dollars only.
Scraler
- Plus
- $49/month, 50 clients, builders and a branded subdomain
- Premium
- $69/month, 100 clients, adds AI generation, community, landing page builder
- Ultimate
- From $109/month, 100 to 500 clients, adds white-label app, custom domain, studio management
- Payments
- Stripe, paid directly to the trainer, no separate platform booking commission
Scraler is not a gym management system, and it is worth being direct about that. There is no access control, membership cards, kiosk check-in, turnstiles or point-of-sale. What it has is studio and staff management, multiple locations, classes with a set capacity and public booking, Stripe payments, and a white-label app on Ultimate. That fits a coaching-led studio running programming and client relationships, not a facility managing who walks through its door. For that job, see the gym management software guide instead.
Where a gym management system beats Scraler
- Access control, membership cards or turnstile entry, none of which Scraler has
- A front-desk point-of-sale for retail and walk-in payments
- Kiosk check-in for a facility with drop-in traffic
- AI-assisted workout and nutrition programming on Premium and above
- Public class booking with capacity built into the same platform as coaching
- A white-label iOS and Android app on Ultimate, not a shared listing
A studio with no doors to badge through and no counter to staff fits this list. A facility that needs to control building entry, or ring up retail, wants a vendor that publishes those features: Gymdesk sells door access as a $100/month add-on, and TeamUp lists point of sale and access control on its single plan.
Plus is $49/month for 50 clients, Premium is $69/month for 100. Fourteen days free to test it, a card on file from the start, nothing charged unless the account is still open when the trial ends.
View pricingFrequently asked questions
- Why doesn't Mindbody publish its prices?
- Its pricing page names Starter, Accelerate and Ultimate, and shows "Let's talk" on all three instead of a figure. One line reads "Starting at 99 Euro/month per location", but it is not tied to a specific tier.
- Which Mindbody alternative has a free plan?
- PushPress has a Free tier at $0/month with unlimited members, before its Pro tier at $159/month and Max at $229/month.
- Which alternative publishes the clearest pricing?
- Gymdesk: $75/month up to 50 members, $100 for 51 to 100, $150 for 101 to 200, and $200 for 201 to 400, with Enterprise above that unpublished.
- Is Scraler a gym management system?
- No. It has no access control, membership cards, kiosk check-in, turnstiles or point-of-sale. It covers studio management, multiple locations, class booking, Stripe payments and a white-label app, aimed at coaching-led studios rather than gyms.
- What does Scraler cost compared with these alternatives?
- Plus is $49/month for 50 clients and Premium is $69/month for 100, both published prices rather than a "contact sales" button, with Ultimate starting at $109/month for higher counts.
