PushPress Pricing Explained (2026)

PushPress runs three plans: Free, Pro at $159/month and Max at $229/month, all with unlimited members, leads, admins and staff. The Free plan really is free, no monthly fee at all, but it carries the highest card processing rate of the three and the slowest support. Prices below were checked on PushPress's own pricing page.

In short
  • Free costs $0/month with no member cap, but card processing runs 4.99% + $0.30 and support is AI only with a 48 hour response time.
  • Pro is $159/month with card processing cut to 2.89% + $0.30, plus advanced reporting, automations and live human support.
  • Max is $229/month, the same unlimited limits as Pro, with card processing at 2.75% + $0.30 and further optimisation tools.
  • PushPress does not publish an annual price for any plan; every figure on its pricing page is already a monthly, no-toggle price.
  • Optional add-ons, PushPress Train from $79/month and a branded app at $81 to $97/month, sit outside all three plan prices.

What do PushPress's plans cost?

PushPress lists three plans on its pricing page, and none of them cap the number of members, leads, admins or staff. What changes between tiers is support, automation tooling, and the percentage taken on every card payment. Our gym software cost calculator lines up what all eight publish at your member count.

PushPress does not publish an annual price or a billing toggle for any of the three plans. Every figure above is already the plan's only published price, so there is no annual-versus-monthly conversion needed here.

What does the PushPress Free plan actually cover, and where does it stop?

A genuinely free tier is unusual in gym management software. Glofox puts every price behind a demo request and Mindbody names only its entry tier, while the vendors that do publish a full grid, Zen Planner and Gymdesk, still charge from the first member. PushPress instead publishes $0/month for Free, with the same unlimited member, lead, admin and staff counts as its paid tiers.

What Free includes: basic scheduling, billing, member tracking, waivers, class scheduling, and self-serve resources plus AI support. That is a working gym management system, not a stripped demo. There is no client cap forcing an upgrade at a specific member count, which is the lever most competitors pull instead.

Where Free stops is cost per transaction and speed of help. Card processing on Free is 4.99% + $0.30, the highest of the three tiers by a wide margin, and support is limited to self-serve resources and AI with a 48 hour response time. A gym doing meaningful card volume will likely pay more in processing fees on Free than the $159 Pro subscription costs outright, once monthly revenue crosses roughly $7,600 in card payments. Support response time is also a real operational cost if a billing issue needs a human same day.

What costs extra on top of the plan price?

PushPress sells a handful of add-ons outside the three core plans. None of these prices are attached to a specific tier's comparison table on the pricing page; they come from PushPress's own FAQ instead.

  • PushPress Train. A separate workout tracking product, priced starting at $79/month per PushPress's FAQ.
  • Branded Member App. A white-label mobile app add-on, priced at $81 to $97/month per PushPress's FAQ.
  • PushPress Grow. A lead and CRM automation add-on named in the plan comparison table with no price shown there.
  • Full Stack bundle. The FAQ references a combined bundle of all products at roughly $559/month, though the exact scope of what that bundle includes beyond "all products" is not detailed on the page.
  • PushPress Insurance. Offered as a separate external product with no price published on the pricing page.

International pricing is not published either. PushPress's footer states that the figures above are in US dollars and directs anyone outside that market to contact sales for a quote, so a studio billing in another currency should treat every number here as USD only.

How does PushPress compare to other gym management pricing?

PushPress's free tier is the outlier in this category. Gymdesk starts at $75/month for up to 50 active members, Zen Planner is $99/month for Studio at up to 45 active members and $229 at 150, and Glofox puts its entry price behind a page-wide "starting at" floor rather than a per-tier number. Wodify does publish $99/month per location for Essentials, an offer against a struck-through $199/month, but shows no figure at all for its Accelerate or Ultimate tiers. None of them offer a genuinely free ongoing plan the way PushPress does.

Once a studio needs advanced reporting, automations or faster support, PushPress Pro at $159/month sits above Gymdesk's $150/month Medium Gym tier (101 to 200 members) and below TeamUp's $189/month for 101 to 200 active customers. Card processing rates are not comparable across this table since Gymdesk, Zen Planner, TeamUp, Mindbody and Glofox either do not publish a processing percentage or state it depends on the plan chosen. At 150 members Zen Planner Studio is $229 a month, above PushPress Pro.

Where does Scraler fit against PushPress?

Scraler is not a gym management system and is not a direct substitute for PushPress. It has no access control, no membership cards, no kiosk check-in, no turnstiles and no point of sale, all of which a facility running open-gym access or card-tap entry needs and PushPress provides.

What Scraler does cover is coaching-led studio operations: staff and team management, multiple locations, classes with a set capacity, public booking, Stripe payments, and a white-label mobile app on its top tier. For a personal training studio or small coaching business running classes and one-to-one sessions rather than unsupervised gym access, that overlaps with what most gyms use PushPress Pro or Max for day to day. Scraler Premium is $69/month for up to 100 clients; Scraler Ultimate starts at $109/month for 100 clients and scales in tiers up to 500.

A facility that needs door access, turnstiles or unsupervised member check-in should stay on PushPress or a comparable gym management system. A coaching business built around scheduled classes and trainer-led sessions, without unsupervised facility access, is where Scraler is the closer fit.

Cons
  • Free's 4.99% + $0.30 card rate can cost more than a paid plan once volume grows
  • Pro and Max prices are not shown as annual figures, so there is no prepay discount to compare
  • Grow, the Full Stack bundle and international pricing all sit outside the published comparison table
Pros
  • Free is a genuinely working plan, not a time-limited trial, with no monthly fee
  • No member, lead, admin or staff cap on any of the three tiers
  • Card processing rate drops on every tier up, so growth has a clear built-in incentive to upgrade

Frequently asked questions

How much does PushPress cost per month?
Free costs $0/month, Pro is $159/month and Max is $229/month. All three include unlimited members, leads, admins and staff; PushPress does not publish an annual price for any of them.
Is PushPress actually free, or is Free a trial?
Free is a standing plan with no monthly fee, not a time-limited trial. It includes basic scheduling, billing, member tracking, waivers and class scheduling. The trade-off is a higher card processing rate, 4.99% + $0.30, and AI-only support with a 48 hour response time.
What does PushPress charge for card processing?
Free is 4.99% + $0.30 per card transaction, Pro is 2.89% + $0.30, and Max is 2.75% + $0.30. ACH processing is 2.89% + $0.30 on Free and 0.79% + $0.30 on both Pro and Max.
Does PushPress charge extra for a branded app?
Yes. PushPress's FAQ prices a Branded Member App add-on at $81 to $97/month, separate from the Free, Pro and Max plan prices.
Is Scraler a replacement for PushPress?
Not for a facility that needs access control, turnstiles or kiosk check-in, since Scraler has none of those. For a coaching-led studio running classes and one-to-one sessions with Stripe payments, Scraler Premium at $69/month for up to 100 clients covers similar day to day operations without the gym-facility features.
