Why do coaches look for a My PT Hub alternative?

My PT Hub earns its following. An 8,000-plus HD exercise video library, a 650,000-plus item food database with a barcode scanner and unlimited clients on Premium at one flat price are genuine strengths. Coaches who look elsewhere are usually reacting to how that price is presented, not the product itself.

  • The pricing page defaults to a lower view. It loads on "Annual paid monthly" billing, showing EUR 22.50, a EUR 15.60 promo rate and EUR 195, all below the flexible monthly prices of EUR 25, EUR 59 and EUR 215 you would actually pay month to month.
  • Payments has no published fee. My PT Hub takes payments on every plan, but neither the processor nor the per-transaction cost appears on its official pages, unlike TrueCoach and Kahunas.
  • A white-label store listing costs extra. Your own App Store and Google Play listing is EUR 145/month on top of Premium; it only comes included once you move to Ultimate at EUR 215/month.
  • Automation sits behind Premium. The AI workout builder, group bookings, live streams and automated check-ins only unlock on Premium; Starter is capped at 3 clients, 50 workouts and 50 nutrition plans.

None of that makes My PT Hub a bad choice. It means the right alternative depends on whether the payments fee, the branded app cost or the Starter-tier caps are what actually affects you.

Trainerize: the largest platform, priced by client seat

Cheapest paid plan
$10/mo (Grow, 2 clients)
Clients included
2
Payments
+$10/mo add-on (Stripe)
Branded app
$169 one-time, shared Apple listing on Pro
The Trainerize pricing page on 22 September 2026. The toggle defaults to annual billing ($9, $23, $248); the monthly prices are $10, $25 and $275.

Trainerize is the largest platform in this category, by coach count, with an AI Workout Builder, meal planners with MyFitnessPal sync and weekly progress summaries. Its Pro plan runs the opposite of My PT Hub Premium: rather than one flat unlimited price, it scales by client seat count as your roster grows.

Pro starts at $25/month for 5 clients and climbs to $250/month at 200, and Stripe payments cost an extra $10/month on Grow and Pro. A branded app is $169 one-time on Pro but sits inside Trainerize's shared Apple listing; an independent listing on both stores needs Studio, from $275/month. If it is not the fit either, the Trainerize alternatives guide covers the wider field.

Cons
  • Price scales by client seat rather than staying flat like My PT Hub Premium
  • Payments cost an extra $10/month on top of the plan price
  • A fully independent store listing needs the $275/month Studio plan
Pros
  • The largest coaching platform here by coach count (400K+ per its own site)
  • 30 day trial with unlimited clients, no card required
  • Weekly automated progress summaries for fitness and nutrition

TrueCoach: a branded app included, one published payments fee

Cheapest paid plan
$29.98/mo (Starter, 5 clients)
Clients included
5
Payments
5% flat (invoice total)
Branded app
Included from Standard
A 22 September 2026 capture of the TrueCoach pricing page, monthly view.

TrueCoach is built for strength, bodybuilding, CrossFit and physical therapy coaching, with a drag-and-drop workout builder and a large exercise video library. Unlike My PT Hub, it includes a branded app on its second plan with no separate setup fee.

Standard is $69.98/month for 20 clients and Pro is $164.98/month for 50; above that, TrueCoach quotes special pricing through support rather than publishing an unlimited tier like My PT Hub Premium. Full plan detail is in the TrueCoach pricing breakdown. TrueCoach Payments takes a flat 5 percent of the invoice total including tax, and only works in the US, UK, Canada and Australia. See TrueCoach vs Trainerize for a direct comparison, or the wider TrueCoach alternatives list.

Cons
  • No published pricing above 50 clients, unlike My PT Hub's flat unlimited tier
  • Payments only work in the US, UK, Canada and Australia
  • Meal plans are documents with macros tracked via MyFitnessPal, not a built-in meal-plan builder
Pros
  • Branded app included from Standard with no extra fee listed
  • Payments fee is stated upfront, unlike My PT Hub's
  • 3,500+ exercise video library plus custom video uploads

Everfit: a free tier, then per-client pricing

Cheapest plan
Free (Starter, 5 clients)
Clients included
5
Payments
From $9/mo add-on
White-label app
Enterprise only (500+ clients)
A 22 September 2026 capture of the Everfit pricing page, monthly view.

Everfit keeps a forever-free Starter plan for up to 5 clients, more generous than My PT Hub's cheapest paid tier at the same headcount. Pro then scales client by client rather than staying flat, rising to $290/month at 300 clients.

A full meal-plan module costs $39/month extra and Payments adds $9/month on top of the plan price. Logo and colour branding comes on Pro, but a true white-label app needs an Enterprise quote with a 500-client minimum, a far higher bar than My PT Hub's Ultimate plan. The Everfit pricing breakdown has every client step, and Everfit vs Trainerize and Everfit vs TrueCoach compare it directly. The Everfit alternatives guide covers the wider field.

Cons
  • Meal plans and payments both cost extra on top of the plan price
  • White label needs a 500-client Enterprise minimum, well above My PT Hub's Ultimate
  • Price scales per client rather than staying flat like My PT Hub Premium
Pros
  • Free forever for up to 5 clients
  • 30 day trial on paid plans, no card required
  • 1,000+ exercise videos with custom video uploads

Kahunas: the closest match to unlimited clients on one plan

Cheapest plan
$35/mo (Essentials, 25 clients)
Clients included
25
Payments
Stripe/PayPal, no commission
Branded app
Ultimate only ($99/mo), own listings
Kahunas has no standalone pricing page; this is the plan section on its homepage, captured 22 September 2026.

Kahunas is one of the few platforms here that matches My PT Hub's unlimited-client structure. Ultimate covers unlimited clients for a flat $99/month and includes your own iOS and Android store listings at no extra fee, something My PT Hub charges EUR 145/month for on Premium. The app needs your own Apple Developer and Google developer accounts.

Every tier includes custom check-in forms, habit tracking and messaging with voice notes. It has no MyFitnessPal integration, per its own help centre, and its trial runs 14 days against My PT Hub's 30. See Kahunas pricing for every tier, Kahunas vs Everfit for a direct comparison, or the Kahunas alternatives guide for the wider field.

Cons
  • The trial is 14 days, half of My PT Hub's 30
  • No MyFitnessPal integration, per its own help centre
  • Prices shown only in USD, unlike My PT Hub's EUR default
Pros
  • Ultimate bundles unlimited clients and your own store listings for one flat $99/month
  • Stripe and PayPal, with no commission charged per its homepage
  • Custom check-in forms and habit tracking on every tier

PT Distinction: a branded app from Pro, no setup fee

Cheapest plan
$19.90/mo (Basic, 3 clients)
Clients included
3 (+$6.00/extra)
Payments
PayPal native, Stripe via Zapier
Branded app
Included from Pro, no fee stated
A 22 September 2026 capture of the PT Distinction pricing page.

PT Distinction charges per extra client on every tier rather than jumping between flat bands. Its Pro and Master plans include your own branded iOS and Android apps with no separate fee listed, where My PT Hub charges EUR 95 one-time for a branded app.

Basic is $19.90/month for 3 clients plus $6.00 for each extra; Pro is $59.90/month for 25 clients plus $2.40 each extra. Its own features page says every feature is included in every plan, which conflicts with the pricing page's Basic-tier branded-app restriction; the plan table is the safer figure to plan around. The PT Distinction pricing page covers the Master tier too, and PT Distinction vs Trainerize compares the two directly. The PT Distinction alternatives guide covers the wider field.

Cons
  • Per-extra-client fees can add up on a growing roster, unlike My PT Hub's flat Premium price
  • Whether a card is required for the trial is not stated
  • The features page and pricing page disagree on what Basic includes
Pros
  • Branded apps included from Pro with no extra fee listed, against My PT Hub's EUR 95 one-time charge
  • Extra trainers can be added free
  • 1 month free trial: cancel before it ends and pay nothing

Scraler: workouts, nutrition and check-ins in one app

Cheapest plan
$49/mo (Plus)
Clients included
50 active
Payments
Stripe, from Premium ($69/mo)
Branded app
Ultimate only, from $109/mo

Scraler is coaching software with a dashboard for the coach and an app for the client, bundling workout planning, meal plans, nutrition tracking, check-ins, habit tracking, chat and scheduling in one entry plan, with archived clients excluded from the cap rather than counted forever.

Premium raises the cap to 100 clients and folds in Stripe payments, AI generation, community and a landing page builder under one price rather than selling them as add-ons. Ultimate then scales in tiers from $109 at 100 clients to $499 at 500, adding a white-label app (iOS under the trainer's own Apple Developer account, Android under Scraler's own Google Play account at no cost to the trainer), custom domain and studio management.

Cons
  • The white-label app is Ultimate-only, a higher bar than TrueCoach's or PT Distinction's
  • The trial needs a card, unlike My PT Hub's
  • Newer and smaller than My PT Hub
Pros
  • Workouts, nutrition, check-ins, habits and chat included from the entry plan
  • Archived clients do not count against the plan cap
  • Payments, AI generation and a landing page builder all included at Premium, not sold separately
