My App Premium
Design the mobile app your clients use, and publish it straight to their phones. On Ultimate you can also ship it to the App Store and Google Play under your own name.
Opening the builder
Open My App from the sidebar. The screen has three parts.
yourname.scraler.com/trainer/my-app

Show: the My App builder — Pages/Style panel on the left, live phone preview on the right
public/docs/my-app-builder.png
- Left panel
- Everything you can change, split into Pages and Style.
- Phone preview
- Your app with your real content. Tap a tab to edit that page.
- Top bar
- Whether your app is live, what you've changed since, and Publish.
The top bar
Everything in the builder edits a draft. Your clients keep seeing the last version you published, so nothing here reaches them until you press Publish. Watch out for one thing: this bar carries two unrelated ideas. Publish sends your design to the app your clients already have. The App Store button is about getting your own branded app into Apple's and Google's stores, which is a separate track entirely.

public/docs/my-app-topbar.png
- Live · 28/07/2026
- A green dot means your design is live in your clients' app, and the date is when you last published it. Before your first publish it reads Draft, and your clients are on Scraler's standard design.
- 14 changes not live yet
- How many edits are sitting in your draft that your clients do not have yet — a section added, a page renamed, a card hidden. Hover Publish to see them listed out. Restyling ships with them but does not move this number, so treat it as a rough guide rather than a full inventory.
- Unsaved changes
- A brief note while an edit is written to your draft. It clears itself after a second. This is only about your work being stored — it says nothing about what your clients can see.
- App Store button
- Ultimate only, and unrelated to Publish. This is the separate track that gets your own branded app onto the App Store and Google Play — a build we produce and submit for review, which takes days rather than seconds. Its label is always the current status: Publish to the App Store, Submitted, Building your app, In store review, or Live in the stores.
- Publish
- Sends the whole draft — layout and styling together — to the app your clients already have. It takes effect immediately: they see the new design straight away, with no app update and nothing to install. This has nothing to do with the App Store. The badge repeats the change count, and the button greys out to Everything is already live when there is nothing left to send.
Pages
The tabs along the bottom of your app, and everything behind them.
The row of icons is your tab bar — tap one to edit that page. The +N button counts pages your app has that aren't in the tab bar.
Manage opens the full list. Nav menu is what's in the tab bar: drag to reorder, tap an icon to change it, or Remove one. Home and Profile are Always on.

Screenshot: Manage pages
Show: the Manage panel with Nav menu and the Not in the nav list
public/docs/my-app-manage.png
Not in the nav holds everything else, including pages you've never used like Habits, Progress and Community. Clients still reach these from their profile. Press Add to give one a tab.
- Limits
- 5 tabs, and 2 pages of your own. If Add a page is greyed out, remove a tab first.
- Removing a page
- A standard page only leaves the tab bar — its styling is kept. A page you built yourself is deleted.
- Your own pages
- Given a Tab name and filled with sections and blocks. Standard pages like Workout show their own content, so you can style them but not rearrange them.
This group applies to one page at a time — the pill next to the heading tells you which. App-wide styling lives under Style.

Screenshot: Header styles
Show: the five header style tiles — Hero, Compact bar, Photo, Title, None — and the background swatches
public/docs/my-app-header-styles.png
- Hero
- A colour block with the date and a greeting, with the first card overlapping it.
- Compact bar
- A slim bar with your logo and the bell. Content starts immediately.
- Photo
- Your image cropped into the band, with a Darken slider so the title stays readable.
- Title
- No colour band — a large page title with plenty of space.
- None
- Nothing above the content. No logo and no bell on that page.
The page background is separate: App default, White, Brand tint, Brand colour, Gradient, Dark or Photo. You can have one image behind the page and a different one in the header.
Standard pages offer Hero, Photo and None only — they already have their own title.
The home screen
Your sections and Scraler's standard cards sit in one list, in the order clients see them. Drag to rearrange.

Screenshot: Home layout
Show: the home layout list with drag handles, section rows and standard cards with their eye toggles
public/docs/my-app-home-layout.png
- Standard cards
- Cards like Workout and Habits come with the app. The eye hides one without removing it from the list.
- Info cards
- Two cards are yours to point anywhere. Use Shows to pick the metric — weight, waist, steps, sleep and more. The row renames itself to match.
- Card colour
- Give a card its own tone and text colour. A dot marks any card that has left the standard look.
- Width
- Cards that are already half-width can be set to Full or Half.
Sections and blocks
A section is a band on the page; blocks are what goes inside it. You get 8 sections per page and 10 blocks per section.
- Background
- Its own colour, or inherit the page's.
- Surface
- Cards puts blocks in tiles, Flat drops the tiles, Glass makes them translucent.
- Spacing
- How much room sits around the section.
- Schedule
- Start and end dates. Outside them the section stays visible to you, dimmed, so you can write it early — clients only see it inside the window.
- Live blocks
- Fill themselves in per client: upcoming workouts, progress, habits, on-demand workouts, cookbooks and your trainer card.
- Content blocks
- Show what you put in them: headings, text, announcements, images, galleries, videos, buttons and spacers.
Click a block to open its settings underneath, where you can change how its contents are arranged, its size and its width. Two half-width blocks sit side by side. An amber note marks a block that isn't finished yet — it won't reach your clients until it is.
Styling the app
The Style tab changes every screen at once, including the standard pages you can't rearrange.

Screenshot: Appearance controls
Show: the Style tab's Card shape, Shadow, Density and Font controls
public/docs/my-app-style-appearance.png
- Card shape
- Sharp, Default or Round corners.
- Shadow
- None, Soft or Floating.
- Density
- Compact, Cozy or Airy — sets the padding and the gaps.
- Font
- Applies to every screen in the app.
Colours
Five colours, each resettable: Accent, Cards, Page, Card text and Page text. Leave a text colour unset and the app picks black or white for readability. A card you've given its own colour keeps it.
Your logo and business name come from Settings, not from here, so they stay the same everywhere.
Designing with AI
Open it from the sparkle button, or Restyle with AI in the Style tab.

public/docs/my-app-ai.png
- Describe it
- "Make it feel premium and minimal", "put my on-demand workouts at the top".
- Or show it
- Drop in a screenshot of an app you like. It takes the colours, spacing and mood — never the other brand.
- Undo
- Every instruction has a Revert to this point. The AI only edits your draft.
Publishing
Your work saves as you go, but saving isn't publishing. Clients keep the current design until you press Publish.
- 1Design your app — everything saves to your draft automatically.
- 2Check the phone preview. It shows your real pages and content.
- 3Press Publish. Your clients see the new design immediately — no app update, no store review, nothing for them to install.
Publishing to the app stores Ultimate
On Ultimate your app can go to the App Store and Google Play under your own name. The button in the top bar takes you there, and its label is always your current status.
Step 1 — Your app

Screenshot: App store step 1
Show: the Your app step — icon upload, app name, subtitle, description and screenshot style
public/docs/my-app-store-step1.png
- App Icon
- 1024×1024px, PNG or JPEG, up to 5MB. Leave it and we use your Branding logo.
- App Name
- Up to 30 characters — what sits under the icon on the home screen.
- Subtitle
- Up to 30 characters.
- Description
- Up to 4000 characters. This is your store listing.
- Screenshot style
- Pick a style and we produce the store screenshots from your own app once it's built. You can upload your own instead.
Step 2 — Apple Developer Account

Screenshot: Apple Developer step
Show: the Apple Developer Account step with its two instructions and the email and team name fields
public/docs/my-app-store-apple.png
- 1Create an Apple Developer account. $99 a year to Apple, about two days to approve.
- 2Invite developer@scraler.com as an Admin. That's everything — we create, build and publish your app from there.
You don't need to tell us when it's done; we watch for the invite. Android needs nothing at all — we publish it from Scraler's Play Console.
Step 3 — Ready to submit
A last check that your icon, name and description are in place and your Apple invite has landed. Then you submit once.
After you submit
The page becomes a tracker and updates itself at every stage.

Screenshot: Submission tracker
Show: the four-stage submission tracker with the current stage marked in progress
public/docs/my-app-store-tracker.png
- 1Submitted — we've received it and queued the build.
- 2Building your app — about 2 to 4 days.
- 3Store review — about 1 to 3 days, with Apple and Google.
- 4Live — your app is in the stores.
If we need something changed, the button turns red, a dot appears on My App in your sidebar, and the reason sits at the top of the form. Fix it and resubmit.
