Every exercise already has muscle group tags that you set when creating it. The exercise library automatically lets you filter by these muscle groups. Categories add an additional layer of organization on top of that.
Filter by Chest, Back, Legs, Shoulders, Arms, Core, etc.
Filter by Barbell, Dumbbell, Cable, Machine, Bodyweight
Create your own categories to organize exercises however makes sense for your coaching. Some trainers group exercises by equipment, others by difficulty level, and some by training phase. Your categories, your rules.
By Equipment (Bands, Kettlebells, TRX)
By Difficulty (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced)
By Phase (Warm-up, Main Lift, Accessory, Finisher)
By Location (Gym, Home, Outdoor)
Edit category names, change colors, or delete categories you no longer need. Deleting a category removes the tag from exercises but doesn't delete the exercises themselves. You can reassign exercises to new categories at any time.
